HOW THEY LIVE
Open all day
Free run of the pasture from sunrise. No confinement barn, no factory shed.
Coop at night
Locked in at dusk, opened at dawn. Predator-safe housing, deep bedding, good airflow.
Fresh, always
Clean water refreshed daily. In hot weather, more often than that.
The bird's own pace
Both our White Cornish and our White Cornish Cross are ready at 12 to 14 weeks. No forced growth, no restricted feed.
None routine
No antibiotics in feed or water as a standard. No growth hormones (illegal in poultry anyway, but worth saying).
Natural mating
Rooster and hen do the work. No artificial insemination. A pair from us reproduces on its own for years.

Two Labrador retrievers keep the yard, and the birds are used to them.
